Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	I had a spare hard drive so I installed Windows 7 on it to see if it would work better then Vista did when I tried it and well it does. Only thing is I installed the 64 bit version and I the driver for my sound card would not work. So I guess I will stick with XP.

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	Well I got the driver working and I have been using it for a couple of weeks. It locks up about half as often as Vista did on this PC but that is still a lot more then XP did. I think it might be due to the sound driver I got installed but don't know for sure because I have no other computer to compare it to. I like what they have done to the task bar. It took a little to get use to but it is a much better way of organizing applications. I never use links on the desktop or even the start menu any more. Everything is juts a click away. With that said I hate the way they now do folders (AKA Library's) they are gay!

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	From personal experience with The Windows 7 Release Candidate 1... i'm not gunna bother with it. I had plenty of issues getting hardware to even recognize with it, and to end all that, even more trouble getting stable drivers. I'd rather run a stable os.. perhaps linux will be my friend again? ----------------------- --==-- Steve
